Phil did excellent work re-staining our deck. It was peeling and in very rough shape before he showed up. After 4 days of his diligent scraping, sanding, filling and staining, it looks brand new! We are so happy with his work and will call on him for other jobs soon, too. He is on time, friendly and does great work at a reasonable cost.

So glad I found Phil - not only was her professional, but he did a damn good job removing my cabinets, tiling my backsplash, and getting my floating shelves up on the walls. He's a good problem solver as well - which is what you want in a handyman since they are going to run into some unknown issues from time-to-time. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Phil! We needed a door installed on our condo and we had the slab only but needed the boring for lockset and carving for the hinges. Phil did it all and even shaved down the door to properly fit. Great worker, very personable, and great pricing. Will hire again. Thank you!!

Phil was great! He was responsive, reasonably priced, had excellent customer service, plus he was on time. He was able to assist us with a variety of random fix-it projects, including installing a new door and toilet. The workmanship was excellent. Phill was great! He spent the day assembling a bed, mounting tv’s, mounting some wall shelves, mounted a Sonos sound bar , and curtain tracks. When I originally called I figured it would be 24-48 hours before he returned my call but to my surprise he called me within just a few hours. He was on time and great at communicating. He did a great job!

Phil genuinely loves what he does and his quality of work really shines through because of it! He provides a service unlike any other handyman we’ve experienced. We love the text messages of when he’s en route and love that everything can be paid online. If I could give him more stars I absolutely would!

We are so happy to have found Phil! I was a house painter for 30 years, 18 of which I ran my own business. Now retired, I fancied myself quite the handy man! What that means is “I never got any projects actually done.”

Phil has saved me and completed somethings that had been lingering for a few years. We will happily contract Phil in the future and highly recommend him.

My big, heavy storm patio door was not shutting and latching, causing a big draft. Phil came and spent several hours adjusting the door, which was out of alignment due to the building settling over 15 years. Has a great seal now, and I'm very happy with it. Phil explained where in the door's latches he had to create the adjustments both up and down, and back and forth, and tested it several times before he was satisfied. A door company was going to send two people out to do it and charge me almost twice as much. Phil also quickly fixed a broken toilet handle while he was here! Great service, great value, friendly. I did have to wait for 2 months for the appointment - popular guy!

Phil is fantastic! He really enjoys doing a good job for his client. He is friendly, professional, insanely tidy, and able to problem solve with you. I have handed him some strange things at both my home and my office (both homes over 100 years old), and he has managed to solve every problem he tackles. !00% recommend.

He fixed windows and repaired places in the exterior of the window frame. He fixed a window that had to be reattached to the house and made it much stronger. He also helped add weather stripping to two doors--each of which was a challenge in its own way, but he did it really well,

Phil refinished our cedar deck. He works incredibly hard, is thorough and honest. He lets you know when he’s going to arrive and arrives on time prepared to work. He pays attention to details and offers good suggestions. In the end, through a combination of rushing to beat the rain and my own lack of clear instruction about the particular stain I wanted him to use, the deck didn’t turn out as well as either of us hoped. He offered to not charge me which seemed just too unfair to him given how hard he worked and the fact that the deck,, while not perfect, Looks much better. I suggested instead and he agreed to a discount for refinishing the deck next year when I use him again. Phil is a genuinely honest, hard working guy who I look forward to working with in the future.

Update to the original review. We are six weeks into enjoying our deck and I have to say, it feels like a new deck. Phil sanded every inch of it and knocked in every single nail and you can really tell the difference. The surface is smooth and the boards are tight. Before hiring Phil, we were considering replacing the deck With composite. Now after the work Phil did, we will be able to enjoy our cedar deck for many more years..

Phil’s work is fantastic. He’s thorough and neat and really listens, and he’ll come up with a tailored solution for you. In addition to some new projects in my home, he’s fixed the shoddy work of another handyman. I’ve hired Phil for multiple jobs over a few years and his work is consistently excellent! Do not hesitate to hire Phil.

Phil was a pro and so nice to my family. We moved homes and before the move he made sure our kitchen was in excellent condition and big items on the walls were removed properly. He also did other jobs requested to get our home in first-class condition for our renters. Thank you, Phil!

Phil was a pleasure to work with. He did a variety of projects around our home, and everything was completed with great care and an extraordinary level of detail. Phil's communication and thoroughness allowed for a seamless process. Our life was undisturbed while he worked - even though my husband and I were both working from home. He was always timely and tidy and came with a well-thought-out plan. I couldn't recommend Phil enough!

Phil’s the best. He takes pride in his work and is thoughtful and professional in his choices of how best to serve the requirements of the job. He did several things for me, from repairing broken antiques to measuring, cutting, mounting, and grouting tiles, and other things in between. Everything was meticulously and beautifully done and showed his true investment in doing the best work possible. He is also very nice and trustworthy, prompt and communicative. If he can do it, then Phil is the person I’d hire for any job.
